Birthday Party
This one was kind of thrown together. I took Alexa to the party isle at Walmart and just told her to pick out what she wanted. So this is really her creation.
When the kids got there, they took their pudding and filled it with dirt (aka oreo crumbs) and gummy worms.

Eyelet and Yelow Bridal Shower
My friend from work was getting married. Her wedding colors were yelow and blue and since I knew she loved eyelet and gingham I used that for the theme of the decorations.

I got this amazing punch from the Martha Stewart Collection. I love it. It makes the pretty edges. I have already used it on so many projects.
Jungle Baby Shower
My sister just had her first little boy. He is so cute. We did a jungle theme for his shower since that was what she was doing in the nursery. This was a two day event. She had so many close friends and family that we had to split it up and have one shower for close friends and another for our family and her husband's family. We had a fun weekend, but it was a lot of work.
For food we had people bring desserts that asked to help. My mom and I set up a crepe bar and we had these amazing asparagas bagels with cream cheese that my aunt makes. The food was really good.

Even the little girls got in on the fun with some matching shirts that we found at Khols.
For the games I made a big poster board with a picture of my prego sister in the middle and different jungle animals around her. It said, "Welcome to tht Jungle." It was used as decoration as people walked in behind the sign in table (I have to find a picture of it) and then when everyone was sitting down they had to put the animals in order of who is pregnant the longest. We also has blank envelopes at the door for people to fill out with their address so she could easily do thank yous. While she was opening presents we did periodic drawings from the envelopes for prizes.
I can be crafty too!!!
I see all of these blogs with all of the crafts and stuff people make so I thought I can do that too. I decided to start this blog to document and show the things I like to do on the side. Hopefully one day it can turn into a business.
